Abstract: Introduction: Acute ischemic stroke treatment is time sensitive especially for large vessel occlusion (LVO) strokes with the goal to achieve early cerebral reperfusion. Research suggests standardized protocols incorporate early notification to reduce time from arrival to mechanical thrombectomy (MT).
