Abstract:Background: There has been a rapid increase in the use of new radiation techniques for postlumpectomy radiation, including partial breast irradiation via brachytherapy (APBI-b), 3-dimentional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT), and intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) techniques.
