Abstract: Background: Current guidelines do not endorse exercise electrocardiography (Ex-ECG) screening in asymptomatic adults due to poor diagnostic accuracy for clinical coronary artery disease (CAD), however Ex-ECG combined with other variables paradoxically has strong prognostic accuracy for cardiovascular mortality.
