Abstract: Introduction: Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is a rare but potentially debilitating thrombosis affecting 3-4 cases per million adults in the United States. Risk factors are thought similar to venous thrombosis, but there is little epidemiologic data corroborating this assertion.
