Abstract:MDM2 is a protein that regulates the action of tumor suppressor protein P53. Inhibiting the interaction between the two proteins is widely considered in anti-cancer drug discovery approach. Targeting p53-bindig site on the MDM2 protein can be useful for the development of new anticancer agents.
