Abstract A47: Cancer genetics research in Alabama: Recruitment mechanisms to reach the underserved

Abstract: Over 60% of the Alabama population is medically underserved, including the entire population of many Alabama counties. These counties are generally rural and have transportation barriers, thus a lack of access to healthcare results in poor cancer outcomes.
