Abstract: Introduction: SARS-Cov-2 virus has been shown to inflict damage on native cardiac valvular tissue. We present the index case of prosthetic mitral valve (MV) dehiscence secondary to SARS-Cov-2 virus as evidenced by histopathologic analysis of peri-valvular annular tissue .
