Abstract: Introduction: Our previous studies demonstrated that loss of Notch1 signaling reduces the incidence of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) by preventing the influx of pro-inflammatory M1 macrophages and that Notch1 deficiency promotes M2-polarization.
