Abstract:Purpose: Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) may be novel biomarkers to predict cancer prognosis and monitor therapeutic efficacy. In the current study, we investigated the use of the time-dependent enumeration and targeted DNA sequensing of single CTCs as liquid biopsy based biomarkers of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients for diagnosis, prognosis, therapeutic choice and outcome monitoring.
