Abstract: Osteogenic Proteins (OP) and atherosclerotic inflammation modulate vascular calcification. Patients with acute myocardial infarction (MI) demonstrate higher inflammation and develop accelerated coronary artery calcification (CAC), compared to stable coronary artery disease patients.
