Abstract: Heat shock proteins (HSPs) constitute a large family of highly conserved proteins acting as molecular chaperones that play a key role in intracellular proteostasis, regulation of apoptosis, and protection from various stress factors (including hypoxia, thermal stress, oxidative stress).
