Abstract: Contactin 4 (CNTN4, alias BIG-2) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored neuronal membrane protein that functions as cell adhesion, playing a key role in maintaining the mechanical integrity and signaling properties of the synapse.
