Abstract: Many botanical compounds that have been proposed to prevent cancer may potentially work via inhibition of the hedgehog-signaling pathway. Here we investigated the potential of Sutherlandia frutescens (also called “cancer bush” in South Africa) to prevent and/or treat prostate cancer.
