Abstract: Background: The role of B cells and antibodies in anticancer immune responses may correlate with improved prognosis in several types of cancer. Indeed, tumor-reactive antibodies are detected in the blood of cancer patients, tumor-infiltrating B cells have been shown to produce tumor-reactive antibodies, and tumor-reactive antibodies can cause tumor regression in several mouse models.
