Abstract: Background: HLA germline genotypes and somatic mutations show great promise as emerging biomarkers for immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and understanding patient prognosis. Multiple studies have shown that HLA homozygosity or loss-of-function somatic mutations negatively correlates ICI response rate.
