Abstract: Description of case: We report a case of Tropheryma whipplei endocarditis, a rare cause of blood-culture-negative infective endocarditis (BCNIE). Due to its rarity and lack of availability of diagnostic tests in district hospitals, the diagnosis remains challenging.
