Abstract: Introduction: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), defined by a lack of expression of the estrogen, progesterone and HER-2 receptors, remains a major clinical challenge due to higher recurrence rates and poorer prognosis compared to other subtypes of breast cancer.
