Abstract: Background: Most colorectal cancer (CRC) deaths are caused by metastatic disease (mCRC). Therapeutic approaches include treatment with monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against EGFR and VEGF. There is an urgent clinical need to stratify mCRC patients for optimal treatment.
