Abstract: Background: HLA and KIR genotypes show great promise as emerging biomarkers for immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and understanding patient prognosis. Multiple studies have shown that HLA-I heterozygosity and high sequence divergence across alleles positively correlates with response to ICIs.
