Abstract: Introduction: Diabetes and heart failure (HF) rates are rising. Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP1RA) and sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) are associated with improved outcomes in these conditions. Out-of-pocket cost may reduce medication adherence. We examined the association of medication copayment with 1-year adherence to these agents in individuals with diabetes and HF.
