Abscess of the Spleen during Pregnancy: Case Report

Abstract: Background and Objectives: Abscess of the spleen is a rare disease, which its selective treatment is splenectomy. In this disease, medical treatment alone is not enough. In this study, the patient had an appropriate response to medical treatment and the symptoms of the patient were completely eliminated.Case Report: the patient was a 35 year-old female, who presented at 26 weeks gestation with fever and left upper quadrant pain.
