Abstract:El absceso esplénico es una patología poco frecuente con alta mortalidad, asociado a proceso infeccioso renal o a embolia séptica por endocarditis. Se reporta caso de una paciente de 64 años, con enfermedad renal crónica en hemodiálisis, con ingreso hospitalario por presentar síntomas gastrointestinales y presencia de lesiones purpúricas, choque séptico.
