Research on enhancing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) security in hybrid environments is critically relevant and important to protect data and ensure customer and organizational trust through the development of strong security policies. The study aims to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions that will help ensure that corporate data and resources are protected when employees use personal mobile devices in an environment where both on-premises and cloud-based resources are present. The methods used include analytical, deduction, modeling, statistical, and synthesis methods. This research identified specific vulnerabilities of potential threats to BYOD mobile devices in a hybrid environment and developed security strategies that include recommendations for creating a security policy and using a mobile device management system. The research led to the development of specific technical solutions, such as recommendations for mobile device configuration. This included educating employees and managers about security rules and the importance of adhering to security policies, and updated lists of current BYOD security threats and challenges given the changing threat environment. The practical value of the work lies in providing practical relevance to organizations by providing robust protection of sensitive data and resources, increasing employee comfort and confidence in the security of personal devices, easing IT departments’ tasks of device management and threat detection, and increasing customer and partner confidence in a security-layer organization.

The strategy for the development of local low-power systems involves the use of several sources. The efficiency of functioning such systems depends on the purposeful reliability management and it is based on the rational hierarchical connections of their structural components. Coordination of the structure of diversified sources and their participation in the formation of energy balance of micro-energy systems in the conditions of dynamic development of renewable energy is an actual research task. The purpose of research was to develop a method of reliability-cost optimization of structure of micro-energy systems with dissimilar sources, which is based on the use of reliability indicators and cost of electricity. The studies conducted are based on the modern methods of applied statistical analysis, the theory of reliability, the synthesis of complex multi-aggregate systems. Through the implementation of the Markov model and simulation modeling of the functioning of sources, it has been obtained the conditions for optimal formation of the energy balance of micro-energy system with the lowest cost of electricity, considering the reliability indicators. Computational experiments made it possible to obtain the regularities of cost evolution of electricity and to show its dependence on the structure and algorithms of the sources’ functioning. Using a probabilistic modeling method, it has been proved for the first time that the cost of electricity is sensitive to the ratio availability of renewable sources of primary energy. The practical application of results lies in the increase in efficiency of energy islands through the structural and algorithmic optimization of diversified sources (traditional and renewable) based on determining the cost of electricity

The background of this article is the potential energy savings of solar heat supply systems due to the use of the renewable energy of solar radiation. The motivation is to create a solar collector design that would combine the functions of both a building cover and a solar collector. It is necessary to investigate and compare different types of solar collector coatings (traditional and modern) and pipe diameters. The purpose of the article is to solve aspects of energy efficiency for new eco-friendly solar collectors. The most effective result occurred with the solar collector covered with the rubber–graphite composition of Grafplast PDA, and when using Prandelli/Tuborama pipes with a diameter of 0.016 m. Their efficiency increased by 8% compared to the second version of the collector made using a more traditional solution. The influence of the distance between the pipes and the flow rate of the heat carrier on the efficiency of the solar collectors was evaluated.
