“…In contrast to the majority of published papers on the phase relations [4e6,21e25], our experiment on copper-silicides was produced by heating copper and amorphous silicon, in high vacuum. It seems to be evident that no Cu 79 Si 21 (ε) phase [26] formed up to 500 C.
