Ablation of Idiopathic Ventricular Tachycardia

Abstract: Idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias occur in patients without structural heart disease. They can arise from a variety of specific areas within both ventricles and in the supravalvular regions of the great arteries. Two main groups need to be differentiated: arrhythmias from the outflow tract (OT) region and idiopathic left ventricular, so-called fascicular, tachycardias (ILVTs). OT tachycardia typically originates in the right ventricular OT, but may also occur in the left ventricular OT, particularly in the si… Show more

“…Scar-related VT (SRVT) could have several causes such as myocardial infarction (MI), dilated cardiomyopathy (DCMP), arrhythmogenic RV cardiomyopathy (ARVC) and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCMP) [6]. Idiopathic VT originated in most cases from the outflow tract regions or the fascicles of the left ventricle in patients with structurally normal hearts (SNH) [23]. VTs originating from the left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) and VT originating from above the pulmonary and aortic valve are recognized more often than before [2426].…”

“…The main features of the dynamics of protein association can be conceptualized within the framework of the encounter complex [6]. To this end, the association is divided into two parts.…”

“…Idiopathic ventricular tachyarrhythmia originating from the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) is one of the most frequent ventricular arrhythmias observed in clinical practice [1]. Although RVOT arrhythmias rarely cause sudden cardiac death [2–4], frequent RVOT arrhythmias can reduce left ventricular contraction in some patients [5,6].…”
