Abstract:Objective
Laser interstitial thermal therapy (LiTT) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure for intractable mesial temporal epilepsy (mTLE). LiTT is safe and effective, but seizure outcomes are highly variable due to patient variability, suboptimal targeting, and incomplete ablation of the epileptogenic zone.
