Aberrant Expression Profile of Long Noncoding RNA in Human Sinonasal Squamous Cell Carcinoma by Microarray Analysis

Abstract: Objectives. This study aimed to identify aberrantly expressed long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) profile of sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma (SSCC) and explore their potential functions. Methods. We investigated lncRNA and mRNA expression in SSCC and paired adjacent noncancerous tissues obtained from 6 patients with microarrays. Gene ontology (GO) analysis and pathway analysis were utilized to investigate the gene function. Gene signal-network and lncRNA-mRNA network were depicted. Quantitative real-time polymeras… Show more

“…Nevertheless, efforts have been put into elucidating the pathophysiological mechanisms leading to the development of gallbladder cancer, however, most of these mechanisms remain unknown. Different from other microarray studies, in the present study, the microarrays were comprehensively analyzed (17)(18)(19). Firstly, eight differentially expressed upregulated genes were found, which included LOC101928168, HMGCS2, SCGN, CHN2, XK, MUC6, PLPP5 and HSPH1 both in cholesterol polyps and gallbladder adenoma from gallbladder walls.…”

“…Multiple studies have suggested that lncRNAs might be implicated in sinonasal malignancies [ 22 ]. As an architectural component of nuclear paraspeckles, lncRNA NEAT1 has been found implicated in many human malignancies [ 23 , 24 ].…”
