Aberrant CD4 expression in plasmablastic transformation of multiple myeloma

Abstract

A 68-year-old female patient with a 5-year history of λ-type IgD plasmacytoma was admitted to our hospital for the evaluation of fatigue in September 2023. The diagnosis of plasmacytoma was confirmed through a biopsy of the bone mass lesion, revealing mature plasma cells secreting monoclonal λ-type IgD (elevated at 13.1 mg/dL).
