Abdominoperineal resection and perineal wound healing in recurrent, persistent, or primary anal carcinoma

Abstract: Salvage APR has a reasonable chance of long-time survival. Perineal reconstruction with a VRAM flap may reduce the duration until completion of perineal wound healing.
