Abstract:Background
The Duruöz Hand Index (DHI) [1] has 18 items of daily activities questions. It was developed to assess the functional disability of rheumatoid hand and cross validated for some other arthropaties of the hand (osteoarthritis, systemic sclerosis, carpal tunnel syndrome, stroke, flexor tendon rupture etc.).
Objectives
To assess the usefulness of the DHI to evaluate functional disability of hands in geriatri population.
