AAC Bloomfield barley

Abstract: AAC Bloomfield is a six-row spring feed barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) cultivar with high yield, high test weight, high seed weight, and good lodging resistance. It performed well in the Maritime Six-Row Barley Registration and Recommendation Test (2013–2016) before being registered in 2017. AAC Bloomfield was developed by the Ottawa Research and Development Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Ottawa, ON. AAC Bloomfield is recommended for barley growing areas in the Maritime provinces.
