Abstract: Background Colorectal cancer (CRC) is Canada's third most common cancer type and represents approximately 11% of all cancer deaths. While sedated colonoscopy or flexible sigmoidoscopy (FS) continues to be considered for CRC screening, these modalities have limitations and risks.
