Contemporary architects highlight past ideas and present new manifestos often perceived as utopian. Bjarke Ingels introduced hedonistic sustainability in response to the demand for environmentally friendly and sustainable living through different perspectives. This paper comprehensively explains the concept of hedonistic sustainability through the designs of Bjarke Ingels, a contemporary architect. Literature from various sources is examined to describe Bjarke Ingels' idea. Hedonistic sustainability combines sustainable ideas, fun, and community. Bjarke Ingels's architectural design is applied through simulation and an ironic approach. Its representation facilitates the exploration of the design objects planned concretely. The idea of playful and communality was raised through the design that accommodates various user activities. Bjarke Ingels's idea is expected to contribute to the knowledge and contemporary architecture design process in Indonesia. © 2020 Nita Dwi Estika, Yudhistira Kusuma, Dewi Retno Prameswari, Iwan Sudradjat

Results about the kinetics of extraction of Eu(III) and Am(III) by extractants designed for the industrial reprocessing of nuclear wastes are reported. They were obtained using the rotating membrane cell technique (RMC). Extraction and stripping kinetic rate constants were determined for various compositions of the aqueous and organic phases. The transfer was studied at liquid/liquid interfaces between an aqueous nitric acid solution and an organic solvent containing the diglycolamide extractant molecule TODGA, or a mixture of the bipyridine molecule CyMe 4 BTBP with TODGA (the latter being used as a phase-transfer catalyst), dissolved in an aliphatic diluent. In some experiments, an aqueous ligand (a sulfonated bis triazinyl pyridine, SO 3-Ph-BTP, 1 or a PyTri-diol) was added to the aqueous phase as a stripping agent. The diffusion coefficients of Eu(III) and Am(III), that are key in the analysis of the kinetic data, were measured using the RMC and the closed capillary technique. Whenever possible, mechanisms are proposed to interpret the experimental results.

Over the past 20 years, the share of nuclear energy in global electricity production decreased from 17.6% to 10%. The article highlights the financial challenges of the RW repository, the synergistic combination of all investments, and the development of a forecasting model for the cost of RW storage and disposal. The control and management of cash flows between financial resources in the field of nuclear energy create new development vectors and define trends for the international nuclear industry and markets. The objective of the article is to analyze the future development of nuclear energy by applying a predictive approach in the context of the limited risk distributor (LRD) business management model. The present paper analyses the trends in the global development of nuclear energy, the political background of the RW disposal, types of radioactive wastes, and their burial in Russia. The results achieved allow improving the typical LRD model for managing international nuclear enterprises by limiting the influence of commercial interests. However, a key problem of improving the efficiency of public and private investment was noted. A vague understanding of methods and forms of investment causes inefficiency and a lack of internal logic of the financing process.
