A Virtual Reality Teaching Simulation for Exercise During Pregnancy

Abstract: One of the poor indicators of the development and health status of a country is high maternal mortality. The world has seen that one pregnant woman in every two minutes dies because of complication with serious or long-lasting consequences. During pregnancy, pregnant women tend to reduce physical activity due to increased sensitivity factors. It will lead to decrease the elasticity of muscles and joints. The way to improve the elasticity is doing exercise during pregnancy. But, there are still many pregnant wo… Show more

“…Setiawan et al analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of previous instructional quality evaluation methods and summarized the problems existing in the current instructional quality evaluation system in institution of higher learning. On this basis, the limitations of the existing instructional quality evaluation system in a university are improved to form a more scientific and reasonable instructional quality evaluation system [ 14 ]. Liu et al established a mathematical model of the instructional quality evaluation system using NN (neural network) theory [ 15 ].…”

“…For instance, (Vailland et al, 2020), observed a significant increment in sense of spatial presence when using haptic feedback in VR (7.62 vs. 6.62) thanks to the IVEQ questionnaire. As a recentlydeveloped alternative, the Immersive Virtual Environments Questionnaire (Tcha-Tokey et al, 2016) has also shown promise as a tool for assessment of this and other VR-related variables, such as engagement, immersion, skills, and usability (e.g., Setiawan et al, 2019;Vailland et al, 2020).…”

“…Liang [14], for example, has used a VTF to teach Tai-chi app for the elderly, and Karkar [15] has developed a game-based aerobic VR trainer that gave points for the calories burned from the activities. VFT also can be used for other activities such as teaching CPR [16] and pregnancy exercise simulation [17].…”
