One potential explanation for the high ranking of these interventions is that teachers in this study rated prompting, modeling, and direct instruction as interventions used in their classroom to address a variety of academic, social, and behavioral goals even though they were informed about the purpose of this study and its focus on problem behavior interventions to address challenging behavior.…”
