In this study, an antenna with transparent super wideband CPW technology has been designed and built with the combination of solar panels for use in wireless communication equipment and systems that require mobile power. The transparency value of the antenna is 63.3%, which is an acceptable value for the optimal use of sunlight. and various thicknesses, the proposed antenna was designed and measured. The copper sheet has a high electrical conductivity and therefore it was selected for the antenna's radiating component as compared to earlier techniques that employed metal oxide. All simulations were done with CST microwave studio software and frequency domain solver. The results indicated that the antenna's operating frequency ranges from 2 to 32 GHz. The results of the computations indicated that the antenna's peak gain and peak efficiency are 8.1 dB and 90%, respectively. Various multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) performance parameters, including the envelope correlation coefficient (ECC), diversity gain (DG), average effective gain (MEG), total active reflection coefficient (TARC), and channel capacity loss (CCL), were analyzed to demonstrate the antenna's performance.

This paper presents a high‐performance multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) antenna comprising 2 × 2 configuration of radiating elements that is designed for sub‐6 GHz applications. The proposed MIMO antenna employs four identical radiating elements. High isolation between the radiating elements and therefore reduced mutual coupling is achieved by spatially arranging the radiating elements in an orthogonal configuration. Also, a novel frequency selective surface (FSS) was employed to increase the gain of the MIMO antenna over a wide bandwidth from 3 to 6 GHz. This was achieved by locating the FSS above the antenna at a certain height. The FSS essentially enhanced the antenna's directivity, reduced back lobe radiation and mutual coupling. The antenna was fabricated on a standard Rogers RT Duroid 5880 dielectric substrate with a 0.8 mm thickness. The overall dimension of the MIMO antenna is 50 × 50 × 12.5 mm3 and it operates from 3.8 to 6 GHz, which corresponds to a fractional bandwidth of 41%. The proposed MIMO antenna has a measured peak gain of 4.8 dBi and inter radiation element isolation >20 dB. Its envelope correlation coefficient is <0.1 and diversity gain >9.9 (dB). These characteristics make the proposed MIMO antenna system suitable for 5G communication systems.

In this article, Dual port excitation spiral shaped dielectric resonator multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna is explored for wideband application. Dual coaxial feeding in inner and outer edge of spiral geometry generates orthogonal hybrid modes. Merging of various hybrid modes lead to a wide bandwidth of operation. HE11δx, HE11δy and HE12δx, HE12δy0.25em orthogonal radiating modes are investigated at 8.7 GHz and 11 GHz resonant frequencies, respectively. Proposed antenna covers wide operating frequency range from 8–15.1 GHz to 7.8–14.6 GHz corresponding to excitation of Port‐1 and Port‐2, respectively, is achieved between ports. Isolation below −25 dB. Envelope correlation coefficient, diversity gain, Total active reflection coefficient, radiation pattern, channel capacity loss, gain, efficiency and various other characteristics of MIMO antenna are explored. This antenna can be used for various C and X band wireless applications.
