Three other transcript maps of the MEN1 region have been previously published (Sawicki et al, 1997; The European Consortium on MEN 1, 1997b; Guru et al, 1997), as well as a report of the gene content of PAC 838l14 (Kedra et al, 1997). A number of transcripts identified in the map presented here have also been reported by others.…”

“…There also appear to be some differences between our map and the other published maps. For example, MCG7 was placed telomeric to PYGM by Guru et al (1997) and Sawicki et al (1997). However, both hybridization data and analysis of BAC 137c7 and PAC 838l14 sequence data indicate that MCG7 is located centromeric of PYGM.…”
