Purpose: The major challenges of vaccination programs are associated with the vaccine cold chain management in primary health centers that must be evaluated. This paper discusses how vaccine cold chain management can address the challenges of vaccination programs in primary health centers. Specifically, it examines how the vaccine chain is managed. Methods: The design of this observational study was cross-sectional. Evaluations assessed in this study include input aspects, output aspects, process aspects, and outcome aspects of vaccine chain management. Observation methods and direct interviews with the evaluated vaccine chain staff collected primary data. Results: Management of the vaccine chain has been carried out properly with the support of human resources or immunization personnel who are in accordance with their competence, based on research results, the management staff are diploma graduates in nursing and midwifery. The defrosting process is carried out for a certain period, as well as using vaccine carriers and ice flasks, which are still good for vaccine distribution. It is very important to pay attention to the supply of the number and type of vaccines for the next month's needs at the public health center. Conclusion: The three key factors that guide the vaccine cold chain are educated vaccine control staff, vaccine storage, and delivery equipment, and efficient vaccine control procedures.

The digitalization of healthcare-related information service systems has become a trend across the world. However, several essential services are still provided manually or use database management which causes serious data integrity problems. One such service is keeping records of children's vaccination. Recently, healthcare has become a potential application area of the blockchain, as it can preserve and protect susceptible private medical records while sharing them in a decentralized manner without losing personal ownership. Our proposal uses blockchain technology to track a child's vaccination records digitally. By ensuring the integrity of the preserved data, this proposed application contributes to improving vaccination record-keeping processes.A blockchain-based child vaccination system holds the potential to revolutionize the way we track, manage, and ensure the accuracy of immunization records. By leveraging blockchain technology's inherent features, this system can enhance data integrity, privacy, and interoperability while automating key processes and empowering parents.

Metrological traceability is essential to ensure the reliability of calibration tests. Calibration certificates usually include information on only one upper-level reference standard. As metrological traceability is multi-layered, generally there is no method available for end users to instantly confirm the traceability from the reference standard to a primary standard. This study focuses on the Ethereum blockchain, which has both tamper resistance and high availability, as a digital data management method. To improve the transparency and reliability of calibration tests, a smart contract that traces back to the primary standard is proposed. Consequently, it is confirmed that end users can instantly obtain traceability information. In addition, the execution of smart contracts requires transaction fees. Here, the calculation of the transaction fees is organized, and the traceability management system is discussed from a cost-effective perspective in the field of metrology.
