“…The assessment criteria encompass solvent, material, and reagent selection, waste generation, energy consumption, sample size, and throughput. More recently, Gonzaĺez-Marti ́n and collaborators in 2023, 21 have reported an alternative metric presenting the results through a clock-like diagram that illustrates the environmental impact of key sample preparation parameters, namely the influence of extraction time, type of extractant, and throughput along with an overall score. As the previous one, it omits the consideration of initial sampling and final detection technique aspects, being more precise for sample preparation assessment.…”

“…Critical extraction parameters such as adsorption/ desorption time, sample pH, sorbent amount, desorption solvent, desorption volume, and shaking speed were meticulously screened and optimized using designed experiments (Plackett-Burman, Box-Behnken), culminating in an efficient extraction procedure meeting the criteria required for a green sample pre-treatment technique. [27][28][29] The newly developed analytical method, Nano-Cs-NAT-D-m-SPE-LC-Orbitrap-HRMS, underwent validation encompassing recovery, reproducibility, repeatability, linearity, matrix effect, limits of detection and limits of quantication, both for fortied wine and river water samples, resulting in satisfactory methodological performance indices. The successful development and validation of the method marks a signicant milestone, as it represents the pioneering application of chitosan for intricate sample pretreatment prior high resolution mass spectrometric determination of multiclass fungicides.…”
