“…At 1 mM, the enthalpy of micellization (ΔH mic ) of neat F127 is about 280 kJ/mol (Figure 4a), in agreement with previous publications (Bouchemal et al, 2009;Oliveira et al, 2020;Solis-Gonzalez et al, 2021), while in presence of DODAC, it is smaller, about 250 kJ/mol. Above this concentration, ΔH mic is even higher, probably due formation of more complex micellar structures.…”

“…The borders between these stages indicate stronger effects of lipid chain length than of the counterion because of the more pronounced border variation for DDAB (same counterion but shorter chains) than for DODAC (same chain lengths but different counterions) relative to DODAB (Figure 6). Based on previous studies on lipid-Pluronic aqueous systems (Bouchemal et al, 2009;Chieng & Chen, 2009;Solis-Gonzalez et al, 2021), hydrophobic and entropic interactions might be the driving forces involved in the CL-F127 molecular complexation and, therefore, in the vesicle-to-micelle transition. The CL/F127 mixed structures (vesicles or micelles) can be suitable as nonviral vectors in gene therapy.…”

“…The ultrasonic velocity, dynamic scattering, light scattering, small-angle X-ray diffraction, small-angle neutron scattering, rheology and electrolyte behavior of the P407 aqueous solution were studied [ 26 , 27 , 28 , 29 ]. It was found that the gelation process was the result of micellar properties (aggregation number and micellar symmetry, etc.)…”
