Abstract: Recent experimental measurements obtained via a highly sensitive optically detected resonance technique have shown that magnetoexcitons in GaAs-(Ga,Al)As semiconductor quantum wells (QWs) have discrete internal energy levels, with transition energies found in the far-infrared (terahertz) region.
