A technique for demodulator reference recovery in the presence of large frequency offsets

Abstract: In burst mode systems synchronization is a key aspect. In these systems estimators become very attractive because of their fast convergence, which allows the reference parameter acquisition time to be very short. Estimators are, however, very sensitive to frequency offsets, leading to a degradation in their performance.
