A Taxonomy for Augmented and Mixed Reality Applications to Support Physical Exercises in Medical Rehabilitation—A Literature Review

Abstract: In the past 20 years, a vast amount of research has shown that Augmented and Mixed Reality applications can support physical exercises in medical rehabilitation. In this paper, we contribute a taxonomy, providing an overview of the current state of research in this area.
