A systematic review and bibliometric study of Bertolotti’s syndrome: clinical characteristics and global trends

Abstract: Purpose: Bertolotti’s syndrome is a prevalent congenital deformity. However, many physicians fail to include it in their differential diagnosis for low back pain (LBP), which results in missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis. There is still a lack of standardized treatment and management strategies for Bertolotti’s syndrome. This study aimed to review the clinical characteristics and management of Bertolotti’s syndrome and reports bibliometric insights in advancements in Bertolotti’s syndrome research. … Show more

“…[10–14] Bibliometrics can help researchers to find the development keywords in specific fields and show the evolution process of research fields through the visualization of data map. [15–19] Therefore, this paper will adopt the bibliometric method to visually analyze and display the literature data related to asthmatic airway inflammation included in the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) database, in order to provide more new ideas for research in this field.…”

“… 11 We can extract detailed information such as keywords, authors, countries, institutions, journals, references in related research areas through bibliometric analysis. 12 In addition, bibliometric tools such as CiteSpace, 13 VoSviewer, 14 and the R package “bibliometrix” 15 have been used for visual literature analysis, as they are more intuitive for interpreting a large amount of information and mining research hotspots. Bibliometrics has been widely used in the fields of cancer, 16 knee osteoarthritis, 17 cardiovascular diseases, 18 and rheumatic diseases, 19 but no bibliometric method has been used to research PCD in OP.…”
