A Systematic Ferromagnetic Resonance Study of Fe-, Ni-, and Cr-Ion Plated Amorphous Ribbons

Abstract: For the first time ferromagnetic resonance measurements are presented on ion plated amorphous ribbons with systematic variation of deposition material and film thickness. The metallic glasses Co66Fe4(MoSiB)30 and Fe39Ni39Mo2Si12B8 are ion‐plated with iron, nickel, and chromium. Anglevarying FMR‐measurements provide information about magnetization, g‐factor, linewidth, and magnetic anisotropy in the ribbon plane.
