A system for inducible mitochondria-specific protein degradationin vivo

Abstract: Targeted protein degradation systems developed for eukaryotes employ cytoplasmic machineries to perform proteolysis. This has prevented mitochondria-specific analysis of genome maintaining proteins that localize to both mitochondria and nucleus.
