A survey of lunar geology, 10 January through 10 June, 1966

Abstract

Principal Investigator. The work reported here is consonant with and fulfills part of the objectives of a comparative multispectral remote-sensing program of the Infrared and Optical Sensor Laboratory. The goal of the program is to develop methods of improving and extending current re mote-sensing capabilities by studying the spectral characteristics of surface features of objects being sought. Improvements are being sought in the kinds and quantities of data obtainable and in the quality, speed, and economy of the image-interpretation process.
