Cyber security threats and issues are escalating in many facets of system domain applications. A comprehensive cyber security model is the need today for quick identification and analysis of various type of threats and attacks for developing a comprehensive mitigation plan. In recent years, hardware threat issues are drawing wide attention adding to the security problem in cyber space. TRUST which is beyond SECURITY is playing a major role. In this paper we present a short synopsis of cyber security and trust for computing today in cyber space that includes hardware security threats, trust and few mitigations.

With the advances in sensor technology, data mining techniques and the internet, information and communication technology further motivates the development of smart systems such as intelligent transportation systems, smart utilities and smart grid. With the availability of low cost sensors, there is a growing focus on multi-sensor data fusion (MSDF). Internet of Things (IoT) is currently connecting more than 9 billion devices. IoT includes the connectivity of smart things which focuses more on the interactions and interoperations between things and people. Key problem in IoT middleware is to develop efficient decision level intelligent mechanisms. Therefore, we focus on IoT middleware using context-aware mechanism. To get automated inferences of the surrounding environment, context -aware concept is adopted by computing world in combination with data fusion. We conduct a comprehensive review on context awareness for MSDF in IoT and discuss the future directions in the area of context-aware computing.

This paper aims to increase downlink utilization by effectively scheduling roadside unit (RSU) to clustered Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET) communications. It is assumed that each vehicle of the cluster has its own data to be downloaded from RSU which can be acquired by both RSU to vehicle (R2V) and RSU to vehicle to vehicle (R2V2V) communications. Proposed model converts resource sharing problem between R2V2V and R2V communications to a linear programming problem. Simulations demonstrated that the proposed model utilizes downlink better than earliest deadline based and first come first served based scheduling algorithms.
