The protection afforded to an automated information system in order to attain the applicable objectives of preserving the integrity, availability and confidentiality of information system resources is called computer security. Integrity of a message should be preserved as it travels from the sender to the recipient, it is compromised if the message is modified during transit. The principle of availability states the resources should be available to authorized parties at all times. The principle of confidentially specifies that only the sender and the intended recipient should be able to access the contents of a message. Data security is a very vital thing to ensure the privacy of a user from others. For an organization, it is very necessary to keep the information safe from various attackers. Computer and network security is a battle of wits between a perpetrator who tries to find holes and the designer or administrator who tries to close them. Strong encryption algorithms can be used to make it impossible for an attacker to attack the node that is strongly protected by multiple keys. This work is focused on the use of dynamic keys for securing the data and for securing data transmission.

Many methods have been introduced to establish a secure multicast communication between different nodes in the network, but these methods have not achieved the secured data transfer. This article explains the most significant way for the key distribution among the nodes, so that any outside infringement won't be able to access the data as well as the key. It uses different algorithms for secure data transfer. Self-healing technique is being used so that when the key is lost, the group members can recover the key by themselves and unnecessary interactions with the group manager can be avoided, which saves additional cost and reduces traffic.

Science and Technology are updating rapidly. Data are transferred through various communicative mediums. Hence always there been a major requirement of confidentiality and secure authorization of information to prevent the unauthorised access and attacks. Symmetric key cryptography is an integral part of cryptographic technique which ensures high security and confidentiality of data transmitted through the communication channel using a common key for both encryption and decryption. There are so many traditional symmetric key algorithms as well as some proposed algorithms which can provide high confidentiality along with authorized access of data. In this paper we made a comparison analysis of some of those proposed algorithms as well as the traditional algorithms of symmetric cryptography with the merits and demerits of those different types algorithm.
