A survey of amputations at Dodoma Regional Hospital, Tanzania

Abstract: A survey of 143 amputations performed at Dodoma Regional Hospital, Tanzania between 1983 and 1988 is presented. Consideration is given to indications for amputation, amputation levels, stump revision and supply of prostheses.
